Prof. Dr. med. dent. Ralf Schulze is of German origin and trained Oral Surgeon. Currently he is Head of the Division of Oral Diagnostic Sciences at the Dental Hospital of the University of Bern, Switzerland. His research interests are in oral radiology and imaging, particularly in technical aspects of this subject. From 2011 to 2020 he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal “Dentomaxillofacial Radiology” where he now is an Editorial Board member. Ralf has since many years also has been working on national and international standards in dental and maxillofacial radiology and also in radiation protection. He was panel member preparing the Safety Report “Radiation Protection in Dental Radiology “published by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in 2023.
